The tournament and its format is quite similar to the 2017 Champions Trophy, however, Indian players will be hoping for a diametrically opposite result.

For India, the batsmen and bowlers have complimented each other as the batsmen have stood up in matches where the bowlers have given away runs, whereas in the previous game when the batsmen failed to get their team to a good score, the bowlers rose to the occasion. The Men in Blue will be hoping that skipper Yash Dhull and opener Sai Sudarshan, two of the top three run-scorers in the tournament, can once again hit the mark in the game that counts the most.

Pakistan, on the other hand, beat hosts Sri Lanka by 60 runs after a brilliant century from Omar Yusuf. Pakistan’s batsmen failed in their last encounter with India and the Mohammad Haris-led side will be eager to avenge their previous loss in the final.
