New Delhi: India own 75. celebratesth Independence Day today (15 August). Our country’s Prime Minister Narendra Modi hoisted the tricolor at the Red Fort to celebrate India’s Independence Day. A celebration and a moment of joy for all Indians, 15th August is the day when our country was finally freed from British rule in 1947.

Many brave hearts lost their lives for their country in the long fight for freedom. To mark and honor their valor, Bollywood celebrities took to their social media and wished their countrymen on the occasion of India’s 75th year.th Independence day.

Amitabh Bachchan wished everyone a Happy Independence Day of India through a post on Instagram.

Akshay Kumar tweeted, “Today as we celebrate #IndependenceDay and salute those who sacrificed their lives for the freedom of our country, let us express our gratitude. support their families. Be his family”.

Ajay Devgn tweeted, “Looking at the Indian flag brings out just one emotion- Gratitude… Gratitude to our Defense Forces who keep it flying high no matter what #HappyIndependenceDay”.

Kangana Ranaut shared a picture on her Instagram story and paid tribute to the martyrs.

Meanwhile, on a related note, Prime Minister Narendra Modi has launched the ‘Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav’ in March 2021 to celebrate 75 years of India’s independence. The festival will continue till August 15, 2023.
