Shanaka led from the front and put in an all-round performance to inspire his entire team. The flamboyant all-rounder smashed 56 runs in 22 balls and took two wickets to take his team to victory. Sri Lanka will be hoping for their chance on Saturday after their impressive performance in the second T20 International. They are the defending Asian champions and their morale will be high.
