South Africa were bowled out for 287 in the third ODI against India despite Quinton de Kock’s century, who scored 124 off 130 balls. De Kock was also among the run-scorers at Paarl, where he scored 78, a stark contrast to today, where he hung patiently before getting into the groove as wickets fell all around him. The Proteas were reduced to 70/3 at one stage and from this point on, de Kock and Rasse van der Dussen (52 off 59 balls) ensured they shared a 144-run stand to take the game away from India. There was almost a danger.
India vs South Africa, 3rd ODI Live Score
Earlier KL Rahul had dismissed Venkatesh Iyer and his presence was felt as the captain bowled the ball to Shreyas Iyer, which went well. Thankfully, frontline seamers like the famous Krishna, Deepak Chahar and Jasprit Bumrah were involved in the wickets. While Krishna took three wickets each, Chahar and Bumrah took two wickets each as South Africa were bowled out for 287. With David Miller (39 off 38) and Dwayne Pretorius (20 off 25 balls) at one point looking like they would take South Africa past 300.
India captain KL Rahul won the toss and elected to bowl in the third and final ODI against South Africa here on Sunday.
After losing the series already, India have made four changes to the playing XI with Suryakumar Yadav, Jayant Yadav, Deepak Chahar and the famous Krishna.
Dwayne Pretorius has come in place of Tabrez Shamsi for South Africa.
Hosts South Africa have taken an unassailable 2-0 lead in the three-match series.
Speaking at the toss, Rahul said that India have made four changes in their playing XI for this match.
“Looks like a good wicket, a little sticky I think. We will try to take some early wickets. We value each and every sport we want to perform. The boys themselves are inspired. The energy has been great. Another chance for us. We have forgotten what happened in the first two matches. We have some plans,” said the India captain.

“There are some things that we need to fix. Suryakumar Yadav, Jayani Yadav, Prasad Krishna and another boy comes.”
On the other hand, Temba Bavuma-led South Africa made just one change in their playing XI as Dwayne Pretorius came in place of Tabrez Shamsi.
“Just one change for us. Dwayne (Pretorius) comes in for Shamsi. We don’t want to lower our intensity, we want to keep raising our standards higher and higher. We always want to play with our best team. This (Different venue) will present a different challenge, we have to proceed clinically. Anything above 300 is competitive,” Bavuma said at the toss.
