India vs New Zealand, Probable Playing 11 for 2nd T20I: The second T20 match against New Zealand will be played by the Indian team in Ekana. Cricket Stadium, Lucknow, on Sunday, January 29. After a 3–0 clean sweep in the ODI series, India Had a bad start in the three-match T20 series. They lost the first game by 21 runs at the JSCA International Stadium Complex, Ranchi. The Black Caps got off to a good start with openers Finn Allen and Devon Conway acting as a perfect launchpad for them to launch an attack. Daryl Mitchell also played a brilliant knock of 59 runs in 30 balls to help his team post a target of 176 runs on the board.
India’s top-order crumbled under pressure but Suryakumar Yadav’s strong knock of 47 gave them some hope. Washington Sundar made quite an impact with the bat, scoring a 28-ball 50. The Indian side eventually succumbed to their first defeat of the series. Shubman Gill, who fired on all cylinders in the ODI series, also failed to make an impact in Ranchi.
New Zealanders won the first innings and they have a chance to win the T20I series in the next game. On the other hand, the Men in Blue desperately need a win to salvage the series.
