India vs England Women: The Indian women’s cricket team has lost the ODI series against England. England beat India by five wickets in the second ODI to take a 2-0 lead in the three-match series. Captain Mithali Raj’s half-century and Shefali Verma’s quick innings went in vain in front of Kate Cross’s brilliant bowling. Mithali Raj did not come for fielding

Mithali did not take the field due to neck pain and was replaced by vice-captain Harmanpreet Kaur. In the first ODI played in Bristol, England won by eight wickets. The third ODI will be played in Worcester on 3 July followed by a series of three T20 Internationals. The only Test played between the two teams ended in a draw.
