David Warner is said to have felt dizzy and hence did not take the field when the hosts walked off the field in the post-tea session on the first day.

Australia have suffered a major blow with David Warner expected to be ruled out of the current 2 matchesRa test against India Due to concussion due to head injury while batting against India on Friday. The opener is certain to be out of the game.

Matthew Renshaw, who was dropped from the playing XI for the Delhi Test, comes in as a concussion substitute for the rest of the game. However, he will not be able to bowl in this game.

Warner was said to be feeling dizzy and hence did not take the field when the hosts walked off the field one after the other in the post-tea session. His teammate Usman Khawaja, who addressed the post-match presser on Friday, said the team will monitor Warner’s condition the next morning for further assessment.

“I think the medical staff will have to make an assessment tomorrow. He is a bit tired at the moment. Apparently he got hit first on his hand and then on his head and the head made him a bit tired and that’s why he didn’t come on the field. I think the medical staff will have to find out what happens from here onwards,” informed Khawaja.
