In West Bengal, now there is a tussle between TMC’s Abhishek Banerjee and Governor Jagdeep Dhankhar.

West Bengal Governor Jagdeep Dhankhar on Sunday hit out at Trinamool Congress MP (MP) Abhishek Banerjee over his remarks on the judiciary during his North Bengal visit.

Governor Jagdeep Dhankhar said in Siliguri on Sunday: “Honorable Member of Parliament crossed the red line. They are attacking the judiciary. I have taken note. I worry that this is a sign of an authoritarian regime.”

The Governor has also called the Chief Secretary on this issue.

On Saturday, at a meeting in East Medinipur, Abhishek Banerjee said: “I am ashamed that a small part, one per cent of the judiciary, has become something like a minion and a Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) probe is ordered in every case. is giving. They are also staying in the murder case.”

Dhankhar’s remarks were immediately picked up by Banerjee.

He tweeted: “I have always believed in speaking truth to power. Yesterday, I said how 1% in Kolkata HC is working in tandem with the Center in protecting some individuals. People are watching, they know that Who is really ‘crossing the red line’. I end my case here!”

TMC also tweeted on the issue along with Saturday’s video.

AITC tweeted: “Once again, the Governor’s selective concern for legitimacy in West Bengal exposes his contradiction and alienation from the actual reality! We have always respected the judiciary but will never bow down to the active interference of the central government in judicial matters in favor of their agenda.

Confrontation between the governor and the state government is common, but this is the first time the governor is directly confronting the TMC.

Amit Malviya, co-in-charge of Bengal and head of Bharatiya Janata Party IT cell, attacked Abhishek by tweeting:

“whereas Mamata Banerjee Undermining India’s federal structure, trying to dilute the governor’s jurisdiction, his nephew goes a step ahead, threatens the judiciary, accuses him of collusion, handing over cases to the CBI. Judiciary is the last resort to #SaveBengal.”

Meanwhile, the CM will replace Dhankhar as the chancellor of government universities. The decision was given in the cabinet last week.
