Punjab’s Patiala Central Jail is embroiled in controversies. During the special search, 34 SIM cards have been found from here. In which 27 are new and 7 are old sim cards. They were sealed in plastic bottles and buried in the soil inside the jail. Police have registered a case against unknown accused in this regard. Jail Minister Harjot Bains confirmed this.

Case filed against SIM card owner and seller
Jail Minister Harjot Bains said that the police have been asked to immediately sell the SIM card and register a case against its owners. In this case, the police is getting the names and addresses of the owners through the SIM card. On whose Aadhaar card these SIMs were issued, a case will be registered against them.

Who brought inside, for which prisoner came, investigation started
The police is now investigating in this case how this SIM card came inside the jail. Any prisoner brought during the production or in collusion with the prison staff. Apart from this, investigation is also being done about who was to use this SIM card inside.

Important, therefore, the conspiracy to kill Musewala hatched from prisons
This is important because the conspiracy to kill Punjabi singer Sidhu Moosewala was hatched in the jails itself. Gangster Lawrence did all the planning by making a conference call from jail.
