In Massive Sandeshkhali Row,TMC Claims Falsehood,BJP Suggests Intimidation As Complainant BacktracksWest Bengal’s ruling Trinamool Congress (TMC) on Thursday accused the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) of spreading falsehood over Sandeshkhali — which has been on the boil since February-end following incidents of violence and sexual harassment complaints — even as the BJP suggested in a sharp comeback that “several such attempts are and will be made to confuse the people of India”.As charges and rebuttals flew thick and fast, an alleged rape victim was said to have withdrawn her complaint. In a video that has gone viral, she said that a person linked to the BJP made her sign a blank paper that was later used to falsely accuse TMC men of rape.
