In Haryana, more than 20 dogs died in a single day in Sabarwas village in Hisar district. It is alleged that a young man running a poultry farm in the village has poisoned these dogs. Animal-lovers complained about this to the police, after which the samples of the dogs were taken. There is anger in the area due to the atrocities committed against the innocent.

Suresh and Ramkumar of Sabarwas village of Agroha area told that a young man has set up a poultry farm in their village. This farm has been taken on rent by a youth of Kuleri village. Recently, a dog had torn the net in the farm. Angered by this, the farm operator poisoned 20 dogs and killed them.

The villagers accused the farm operator of injecting poison into a dead chicken and throwing it outside the farm. Nearby dogs ate it and about 20 dogs died due to the effects of the poison.
