The social networking site also said that the Interim Resident Grievance Officer withdrew his candidature on June 21.
Earlier, the High Court had asked Twitter to comply with the new Information Technology (IT) rules for digital media, if they are not prohibited.
The new IT rules came into effect from February 25 this year and the Center had given three months to every social media intermediary, including Twitter, to comply with them.
The three-month period ended on May 25 but no such officer was appointed by the company.
