He further said that the main job of the police is to provide security to the courts which are the custodians of justice but if the orders of the state, judiciary and security enforcers are compromised, civil war will break out in the country.

According to the federal minister, if Imran is allowed to flout the law, gangs, goons and terrorists will emerge from every street and attack courts and police. “If you think that giving protection and this concession to a ‘laadla’ will lead to rule of law in this country, then you are wrong.”

He further said that the courts have been summoning a person since August 23 last year, but he did not appear and when the court ordered him to be arrested and produced, he instigated his followers to attack the judiciary, Geo News told.

Maryam further said that it had never happened in the country’s history that a criminal was summoned to the court and given the facility to attend in his own car – referring to Imran Khan’s appearance at the Islamabad judicial complex yesterday Where the judge allowed the former prime minister to mark his presence in his car due to the violence that broke out inside the premises.

The PML-N leader further said that Khan destroyed the national economy during his misrule, rendering people jobless and depriving them of two meals a day. He asserted that during the PTI regime, prices of food items like flour and sugar, cooking oil and electricity skyrocketed, affecting the common man badly.

Earlier, a Pakistan court on Saturday quashed Khan’s arrest warrant in the Toshakhana case and adjourned the hearing till March 30, The Express Tribune reported.

Stating that the situation was not conducive for the hearing, Additional Sessions Judge Zafar Iqbal directed former Prime Minister Imran Khan to ensure his presence in the next hearing scheduled for March 30. Khan left for Lahore without getting out of his bullet-proof vehicle at the gate of the judicial complex.
