Kochi: The pressure over southwest Bay of Bengal will weaken into a Low Pressure Area (LPA). On November 14, the IMD has predicted heavy rains in Thiruvananthapuram, Kollam, Pathanamthitta, Alappuzha, Kottayam and Idukki. On November 15, a Yellow Alert has been issued for isolated heavy rains for the entire state.
On Thursday morning, Aryankavu recorded the highest rainfall of 18 cm in 24 hours, while Thenmala received 12 cm and Koni 7 cm.
