Indian Institute technology (IIT) Guwahati has postponed the issue of admit cards for IIT-JAM 2023 examinations. The officials have now decided to release the hall ticket on 14th January. Earlier, IIT JAM 2023 admit card was to be released today, January 10. Applicants can access and download their admit cards through this website – jam.iitg.ac.in. ,
IIT JAM 2023 exam is scheduled to be conducted on February 12 in two sessions. The exam for Chemistry (CY), Geology (GG) and Mathematics (MA) will be conducted in the forenoon session. After this, in the second session, there will be an exam for Biotechnology (BT), Economics (EN), Mathematical Statistics (MS) and Physics (PH). The results will be released on March 22.
IIT JAM 2023 admit card: How to download
Step 1- Log on to the official website of IIT JAM 2023, jam.iitg.ac.in.
Step 2- Find the admit card link on the homepage
Step 3- You will be redirected to a new page wherein you will be required to enter the login details
Step 4- Click on submit
Step 5 – Your admit card will appear on the screen.
Step 6- Download the admit card and take a printout to enter the exam centre.
Students are advised to make sure to check the details like name, father’s name and the subject they are appearing for are present on their hall ticket. Before appearing for the exam, candidates can check their preparation by taking the IIT JAM 2023 mock test.
The officials have given links for seven subjects – Chemistry, Geology, Mathematics, Biotechnology, Economics, Mathematical Statistics and Physics. Candidates have to select the subject they want to appear in the mock test. The portal will ask for login ID and password from the students.
IIT JAM 2023 will be conducted in seven different subjects namely Biotechnology (BT), Chemistry (CY), Economics (EN), Geology (GG), Mathematical Statistics (MS), Mathematics (MA), Physics (PH) It is a computer based test. , The test consists of three types of objective questions – Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs), Multiple Choice Questions (MSQs), and Numerical Answer Type Questions. The score can be used by candidates for admission to over 2300 seats in NITs, IISc, DIAT, IIEST, IISER Pune, IISER Bhopal, IIPE, JNCASR, and SLIET.
