The bootcamps are being organized by IHFC and supported by its incubated startups, Rancho Labs and The Innovation Story. More than 800 students have been benefitted so far from 26 such bootcamps conducted during the last few weeks.

The focus of these bootcamps is to encourage youth to use their skills and develop robots in teams. These bootcamps will not only train the students on the fundamentals of robotics but also teach them how to use robotics in everyday life and give them exposure to “Robo-kancha” (named after the popular childhood game “kancha”) played under DRLs. placed on) will be prepared to participate. 2023, an initiative of the Government of Delhi launched in partnership with IHFC.

In the game of Robo-Kancha, one will see the beautiful coexistence of humans and robots cooperating to play the game of “Kancha”. The DRL will conclude with the finals in the first week of July.

There are many exciting prizes for the students to win, including cash prizes and mentorship from IHFC-IIT Delhi as well as pre-seed grants for student-owned startups, which is one of the main attractions.

“It is incredible to see the overwhelming response from Delhi schools to the bootcamp, as well as the interest generated among students for the league. These young minds are our future, and we need to channelize their talents in the right direction to ideate, conceptualize and build robots at this age and their future prospects,” said Professor SK Saha, Project Director at IHFC.
