New Delhi: There is good news for the students who want to get and study official degree in Artificial Intelligence (AI). From next year, students will be able to pursue Masters in Technology (M.Tech) in Artificial Intelligence from IIT-Delhi.
IIT-Delhi is gearing up to be at par with global standards on Artificial Intelligence. The Senate has approved the proposed new curriculum for Artificial Intelligence at IIT-Delhi by all the major educational decision-making committees at IIT-Delhi.
IIT-Delhi to launch M.Tech in Artificial Intelligence
The program will be based on Machine Intelligence and Data Science (MINDS). To impart this education, IIT-Delhi’s School of Artificial Intelligence based its M. Tech curriculum on a special curriculum.
IIT-Delhi may start this course in July 2022. Students having graduation in Science or Engineering will be eligible to enroll in this M.Tech program. This is the second degree in Artificial Intelligence being offered by IIT-Delhi. He previously did his Ph.D. in Artificial Intelligence.

Professor Mausam, Founding Head, School of Artificial Intelligence (SCAI) at IIT, said, “Our Ph.D program has garnered a lot of interest in its first year. The success rate of Ph.D. The students were 90%. Young academics are most attracted by us. This is exceptional for the unit as young students who usually prefer pre-established academic programs are choosing us instead.”
According to IIT-Delhi, students enrolled in the program will work on AI problems related to the industry. IIT-Delhi Director Prof. V Ram Gopal Rao said: “Educational institutions should work closely with all stakeholders including industrial institutions, non-profits and government organizations.”
