IIT Delhi, Delhi Jal Board collaborate to take up research, development initiatives on water supply

To address the water security issues before Delhi, Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Delhi and Delhi Jal Board (DJB) will collaborate to take up research and development initiatives on water supply and distribution. This will include research on wastewater transport, treatment, recycling, reuse and disposal.

They will jointly develop a smart operation and management framework for DJB’s water and wastewater infrastructure. In addition, education and training modules for in-service officers of DJB will also be developed through collaboration.
