BJP President JP Nadda on Monday claimed that there is no national party left in the country other than the BJP.

In a meeting here, he told the party workers that the fight of BJP is no longer with any national party in the country. Listing the parties in different states, he said, “If there is a national party, it is the BJP. We are fighting against family rule.”

Addressing the heads of power centers and workers, Nadda described the Shiv Sena as a party of father and son. He said that Jagan Mohan Reddy-led YSR Congress Party (YSRCP) and Telugu Desam Party (TDP) are both dynastic parties. He also remarked that the Indian National Congress has been reduced to a brother-sister party.

Nadda claimed that Narendra Modi has changed the politics and political culture of the country by eliminating family centric, caste and community based politics, appeasement and corruption.

Stating that Andhra Pradesh has a special place for the BJP, he recalled that once out of two BJP MPs from across the country, the state had sent one MP. He called upon the party workers to strengthen the organization in the state.

He said that out of 10,000 Shakti Kendras in the state, appointments have been made in more than 6,000 centers, while in the remaining centers appointments will be made soon. He informed that 4-5 booths come under each Shakti Kendra and there are 10.40 lakh booths in the country.

Stating that Andhra Pradesh has 46,00 booths, he urged their chiefs to reach out to all booths, hold meetings with workers and bring new workers into the party. He called for nominating members from all sections of the society including Dalits, Adivasis and minorities.

He urged the center heads to identify the beneficiaries of central government schemes at the booth level. Find out who is getting food grains under PM Garib Kalyan Anna Yojana and how it has changed their lives. Similarly identify the beneficiaries of PM Awas Yojana, find out whether they have got a house or not and how it has changed their lives. They said.

He claimed that the Arogyasree scheme being implemented in Andhra Pradesh is not a scheme of the state government but of the central government.

He said, “Ayushman Bharat has been changed by Jagan Mohan Reddy as Aarogyasree. It is not Jagan’s plan, it is Narendra Modi’s plan.”

Nadda asked BJP workers to convince people that if they come under Ayushman Bharat they can get medical treatment of Rs 5 lakh per year in any other state of the country.

He also asked to arrange booth level meetings on the last Sunday of every month to listen to Prime Minister Modi’s Mann Ki Baat programme. “All the workers should gather and listen to Mann Ki Baat, discuss and eat together by exchanging the food brought from their homes,” he said.

Nadda asked the party workers to hoist the BJP flag in every house, go door-to-door for public relations, arrange for speakers to address the people explaining the government schemes. He advised them to meet five new people every day and invite them to join the party.
