Maharashtra minister Chhagan Bhujbal on Saturday ridiculed the BJP over the cruise ship drugs busting case involving film superstars. Shah Rukh KhanAryan’s son Aryan is one of the arrested accused, and he said that “the medicines will become sugar powder” if the actor joins the saffron party.
A huge consignment of drugs was seized at Gujarat’s Mundra Port, but instead of investigating the matter, a central agency, the Narcotics Control Bureau, was chasing Shah Rukh Khan, he alleged.
The senior NCP leader quipped, “Drugs will turn into sugar powder if Shah Rukh Khan joins the BJP.” Bhujbal, speaking at an event of the Samata Parishad-NCP here, also said that the Maharashtra government had passed an ordinance on the OBC quota but it was challenged in the court by a BJP functionary.
He demanded to know whether the BJP was against giving reservation to the Other Backward Classes.
