Madhya Pradesh Congress President Kamal Nath said on Sunday that if at all the Prime Minister Narendra Modi went to any school for education, it was made by the Congress, a remark that drew a sharp reaction from the ruling BJP, which said people were well aware of what kind of “creative and destructive” the grand old party “Worked done. Nath was responding to a question on Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan’s allegation that the Congress failed to end poverty in the country during its 70-year rule. “The school that Shivraj ji (Chouhan) went to was built by the Congress. If Modi ji has gone to any school, that too has been built by Congress.

When asked about Nath’s statement, state BJP spokesperson Pankaj Chaturvedi said, “What kind of constructive and destructive work has been done by the Congress, the countrymen are well aware of it. This is the reason why Congress is losing elections since 2014, while BJP is on its way to victory. “The extraordinary work of Modi ji has made the country proud and raised its prestige in the world. This has angered the Congress and Nath and hence they are making baseless allegations and making personal attacks on Modi ji. Meanwhile, when asked about All India Majlis-e-Ittehadul Muslimeen (AIMIM) chief Asaduddin Owaisi’s allegation that he (Nath) was having ties with the BJP in Madhya Pradesh, Nath said the Hyderabad MP were to serve the sole purpose in the state. Benefits to the BJP in the ongoing rural local body elections.

“Why has he come? He is clearly visiting MP so that the BJP benefits. This is his only objective,” Nath told reporters after being asked about Owaisi’s allegations that he (Nath) and The BJP was united, with Owaisi addressing a public meeting in Khandwa on Saturday to garner support for its candidates in the upcoming civic polls, saying Nath and Modi were on the same page.
