If India is a Bright Spot for World, UP is Driving Growth of Country: PM Modi

New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Friday said that if India is a bright spot for the world, it is Uttar Pradesh which is driving the country’s development. “Today UP has become a hope. If India is a bright spot for the world, it is UP, which is driving India’s growth.”

The Prime Minister, who is an MP from Varanasi, said that Uttar Pradesh, which was earlier known as Bimaru state, is today known for good governance. The abbreviation Bimaru consists of the first letters of four states – Bihar, Madhya Pradesh, Rajasthan and Uttar Pradesh. Modi also mentioned the benefits of bajra, which is also known as the ‘coarse grain’ and has emerged as a superfood today.

He said, Bajra, which we now call ‘Sri Anna’, has a very high nutritional value. It is our endeavor that India’s ‘Shri Anna’ addresses global nutritional security. The Prime Minister said, ‘Today the aspirations of the society of India are pushing the governments.

And, these aspirations are also giving impetus to the development works. “He said,” Today India is reforming not out of compulsion, but because of conviction.
Uttar Pradesh Global Investors Summit 2023 is being organized from 10-12 February.

It is the flagship investment summit of the Government of Uttar Pradesh. The summit will bring together policy makers, industry leaders, academia, think tanks and leaders from around the world to explore business opportunities and build partnerships.

Union Defense Minister Rajnath Singh and Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath also spoke on this occasion. Earlier Mukesh Ambani, Kumar Mangalam Birla and N Chandrasekaran also addressed the event.
