ICSE Results 2023: Ovarian Tumour Fails To Deter Mumbai Student Who Got 99.2%

Despite being diagnosed with ovarian tumor in February, Ritika Barat persevered through a challenging period to prepare for her board exams

Ritika Barat, a 17-year-old student of Ryan International School in Mumbai, faced a tough time ahead of her ICSE 2023 exams. While her partners were busy preparing, she was dealing with an ovarian tumor that kept her in the hospital for weeks. Despite the fear and uncertainty, Ritika refuses to give up on her dream of passing the exam and making her family and school proud. He had an emergency operation just a few days before the exam and was discharged for a short period of time. Despite feeling weak and tired, Ritika exerted all her strength and appeared for the exam determined to achieve her goal. His indomitable spirit is an inspiration to all who are facing challenges on the path to success.

“Despite all the mental and physical pain I went through, my family, principal and teachers of the school supported me and motivated me to be strong. I made up my mind not to let my condition be an excuse and cause for regret in the future. No matter how much you study, life gives you the best lessons,” she said as per a report in Hindustan Times.

Against all odds, Ritika Barat scored an excellent score of 99.2% in her ICSE Class 10 exams, becoming one of the top scorers in the city. This remarkable achievement is made all the more impressive considering the challenging circumstances they faced.

Despite being diagnosed with an ovarian tumor in February, Ritika Barat went through a challenging period to prepare for her upcoming board exams scheduled for February 27. Although she faced many obstacles during her studies, she was determined to succeed. With the help of her mother, she was able to overcome her difficulties and prepare for the exam. After her successful surgery and recovery, Ritika is now free of the tumor and plans to pursue a career in engineering by studying science in higher education.

His remarkable achievement serves as an inspiration to lakhs of students across the country who face similar challenges and hope to write their own success stories.

The Council for the Indian School Certificate Examinations (CISCE) declared the class 10th and class 12th results on 14 May.
