ICSE Class 10 Board Exams 2023 to Begin Tomorrow, Check Important Guidelines

As per the schedule, the Class 10 board exam will begin with English paper 1 and will be of 2 hours duration

The Council for the Indian School Certificate Examinations (CISCE) will introduce the Indian Certificate of Secondary Education (ICSE) Class 10 board exams from Monday, February 27. As per the schedule, the Class 10 board exam will begin with Paper 1 of English and will be of 2 hours duration. The ICSE Class 10 exams will end on March 29 and Biology – Science Paper 3 will be the last subject.

Currently, the Indian School Certificate (ISC) Class 12 board exams are going on. It started on 13th February and will end on 31st March with the Environmental Science exam paper.

The council has issued several guidelines for the students appearing for the 10th and 12th exams. All the students are advised to follow the CISCE guidelines on all the days of examination to avoid any further inconvenience.

ICSE 2023: Important Guidelines

All candidates must sit 5 minutes before the commencement of the examination.

Students will not be allowed to leave the examination hall before the end of the examination.

-Students are advised to inform the invigilating examiner if they receive any test paper for which they are not registered or if the questions indicate that a map or other stationery should also be provided.

– Students have to put their signature on the top sheet of the primary answer sheet.

-Candidates are requested to read carefully any general instructions/instructions given on the top of the paper.

Use only black or blue ballpoint pen or fountain pen to write on all answer sheets.

-Students are advised to write on both sides of each page of the answer sheet. They have to leave a margin on the right and left side of the answer sheet. Also, start answering each component of a question on a separate line.

-Candidates should clearly write the question number at the beginning of each answer on the left hand margin. They should also follow the same numbering as in the question paper of the exam.

Students will not be allowed to use calculator.

Remember to put the answer sheets in chronological order after the allotted time for writing them is over. Check that the correct Unique Identification Numbers (UID), Index Number and Subject Paper are written on the Main Answer Book, Continuation Book/Paper, Graph and Map.

-Candidates should fold the answer sheet in half and attach it at the top left corner before submission.
