ICICI Bank Q2 profit up 25% to Rs 6,092 crore – Times of India

New Delhi: ICICI Bank On Saturday, consolidated net profit for the September quarter 2021-22 reported a growth of 24.7 per cent at Rs 6,092 crore.
The private sector lender had posted a net profit of Rs 4,882 crore in the same quarter of the previous fiscal.
ICICI Bank said in a regulatory filing that total income, however, rose marginally to Rs 39,484.50 crore in the quarter as against Rs 39,289.60 crore in the same period of 2020-21.
On a standalone basis, net profit during the quarter rose 30 per cent to Rs 5,511 crore as against Rs 4,251 crore. Income increased from Rs 23,651 crore to Rs 26,031 crore.
The bank’s asset quality showed an improvement as gross non-performing assets (NPAs) fell to 4.82 per cent of gross advances as on September 30, 2021, from 5.17 per cent in the year-ago period.
Net NPAs (Bad Loans) also fell from 1 per cent to 0.99 per cent.
