ICC World Cup 2023: The 29th match of World Cup 2023 was played between India and England (India vs England) on 29 October in Lucknow. In this match, the Indian team managed to achieve its sixth success of the tournament. With this, the blue team has once again reached the top in the points table.

Chasing the target of 230 runs given by India at the Ekana Sports City, the English team was all out for 129 runs in 34.5 overs. From the opposition team, only Liam Livingstone was able to face the Indian bowlers for some time. Batting at seventh position for his team, he faced a total of 46 balls. Meanwhile, he managed to score 27 runs with the help of two fours. India has got a big victory in this match by 100 runs.

Apart from Livingstone, other English batsmen were seen struggling against the Indian bowlers today. The team had high expectations from Joe Root and Ben Stokes, but they could not even open the account against India. Whereas captain Jos Buttler contributed only 10 runs and experienced batsman Jonny Bairstow contributed 14 runs.

For India, fast bowler Mohammed Shami once again managed to achieve the maximum of four successes. Apart from him, Jasprit Bumrah also bowled well and took three wickets. Apart from these two bowlers, Kuldeep Yadav achieved two successes and Ravindra Jadeja achieved one success.

Earlier in Lucknow, after losing the toss and batting first, the Indian team managed to score 229 runs at the loss of nine wickets in the stipulated overs. Opening the innings for the team, captain Rohit Sharma played the highest half-century of 87 runs in 101 balls. Apart from him, Suryakumar Yadav, batting at sixth position, had managed to score 49 runs.
