Air travel to Dharamshala has been made expensive in the guise of ICC Cricket World Cup-2023. Airlines have increased the fare from Delhi to Dharamsala from Rs 500 to Rs 2800. The lowest fare from Delhi to Dharamshala till Sep 2023 is Rs.4168. On October 21, it has been given a minimum of Rs 6988 and a maximum of Rs 10,311. Common people will also have to pay more rent under the guise of Cricket World Cup.

The first match is to be played between Bangladesh and Afghanistan on October 7 in Dharamshala. Even before this match, from October 2, the minimum fare for the flight coming from Delhi to Dharamshala has been reduced to Rs 4745. The second match in Dharamsala will be played between England and Dharamsala on October 10. Two days before this i.e. Sunday fare has gone up to Rs.5144.

Record jump in fares before India Vs New Zealand match

A day before the match on October 17, the fare from Delhi to Dharamshala was kept at Rs 4745. There will be a match between India and New Zealand on 22 October. A day before this, on October 21, the minimum fare was Rs 6,988.

The fare from Delhi to Dharamshala has been increased to Rs 5,744 for the match between England and Bangladesh on October 20 and Rs 5,428 for the final match between India and New Zealand on October 28.

Maximum fare Rs 10311 a day before India’s match

On October 6, the maximum fare for two Indigo flights from Delhi at 6.40 am and 11.10 am was increased to Rs 8788. On the same day, the fare for both Spice Jet flights is Rs 8368, Indigo Allian Rs 7302, Allianz Air Rs 6568. A day before the match on October 9, the maximum fare of Spice Jet has been increased to Rs 9944 and on the same day the fare of Indigo has been increased to Rs 8788. The maximum fare for a day before India’s match in Dharamsala has been fixed at Rs 10,311.

Rent increased even in off tourist season

Generally, even tourists do not come to Himachal in October. Therefore, it remains off season from the point of view of tourism. But the airlines have increased the fares under the guise of the Cricket World Cup. In such a situation, cricket lovers will have to pay more fare to enjoy the match at International Stadium Dharamshala, which is one of the most beautiful stadiums in the world.
