In the beautiful plains of Himachal too, the enthusiasm of Cricket Mahakumbh has started rising. Yes, why not? Himachal’s Dharamshala International Cricket Stadium has got to host five matches of the ICC Cricket World Cup. According to the schedule released by the ICC on Tuesday, the World Cup will start on 5 October.
The first match will be played between England and New Zealand at the Cricket Stadium in Ahmedabad. Two days later i.e. on October 7, the first match will be held between Bangladesh and Afghanistan in Dharamshala. England and Bangladesh teams will clash in the second match here on October 10. The third match will be held on October 17 between South Africa and the Qualifier-1 team.
Match between India and New Zealand on 22 October
The match will be played between India and New Zealand in Dharamsala on 22 October i.e. Sunday. The last match at Dharamshala Stadium will be between Australia and New Zealand on 28 October. This is considered a major achievement for the Himachal Pradesh Cricket Association (HPCA).
India will host
India will host the entire tournament, which will begin on October 5. The final match of the ODI World Cup will be played in Ahmedabad on 19 November.
