ICAI CA Final Result 2021: ICAI has released the results of CA Final and Foundation (July) 2021. Out of 83,606 candidates registered for the Chartered Accountants’ Final Examination (new course), 19-year-old Nandini Agarwal from Morena topped the list with 614/800 marks. While his 21-year-old brother Sachin Agarwal has also secured All India Rank (AIR) 18.
Madhya Pradesh CM also congratulated the brother-sister duo
The brother-sister duo, along with Madhya Pradesh CM Shivraj Singh Chouhan, Union Minister Narendra Singh Tomar, BJP state president VD Sharma, Congress leaders Chaudhary Rakesh Singh and Ashok Singh tweeted congratulations after successfully passing the exam. His family is currently celebrating his extraordinary success.
Sachin and Nandini, students of Victor Convent School in Morena district of Madhya Pradesh, had passed class 12 in 2017. Nandini had skipped two classes in her childhood and studied in her elder brother’s class from the second grade itself.
On her success Nandini says, “My brother and I have been studying together since school. We also prepared for IPCC and CA final together. Our strategy has been simple – we support each other but we are more When we solve a question on a paper, he checks my answers and I check it. There have been moments when I was losing hope but my brother’s support got me back on track. ” Nandini is also currently doing articleship from PwC. He also got AIR 31 in IPCC exam.
When the pandemic hampered the preparation of most of the candidates, the siblings studied day and night. This also gave him a lot of time for study and revision of subjects.
Sachin says, “There was a time when we used to fight like crazy but that only lasted for a while and we went back to normal. I would have been happy even with 70 percent marks because I didn’t have high expectations but I knew Nandini Will do great. She is brilliant and deserves all success. In many ways, she is my mentor.” Sachin is doing articleship from Gurugram based firm One Point Advisors.
Her father, Naresh Chandra Gupta is a tax practitioner while her mother, Dimple Gupta, is a homemaker. Both Nandini and Sachin advise candidates to follow ICAI study material to crack the exam as “it worked really well for them”.
