Dhanush told ETimes, “I don’t look at him that way. I love his simplicity. If you think his father is simple, meet Aishwarya. He is 100 times simpler than his father.”

Recently some reports claimed that Dhanush and Aishwarya Rajinikanth’s divorce is not a ‘divorce’ but a ‘family feud’. Talking to a media portal, Dhanush’s father and filmmaker Kasturi Raja has denied the divorce rumours. He claimed that Dhanush and Aishwarya divorced due to a disagreement. Taking to The Indian Express, he said, “It is a family feud which usually takes place between a married couple.” The report also said that the couple is not currently in Chennai, but Hyderabad and the veteran Tamil filmmaker has also given them a piece of advice. On January 17, Dhanush and Aishwarya took to their respective social media handles to share the news of their separation. The statement read, “18 years of living together as friends, couple, parents and as each other’s well wishers.. The journey has been of growth, understanding, adjustment and adaptation…today we Standing at a place where our paths diverge.…Aishwarya and I have decided to separate as a couple and take time to understand us as individuals for the better. Please respect our decision And give us the necessary secrecy to deal with it. Om Namashivaaya. Spread the love.”

On Instagram, posting the letter, Aishwarya said: “No caption needed. Only your understanding and your love is required!”

Meanwhile, on the professional front, Dhanush was recently seen in Aanand L Rai’s ‘Atrangi Re’. Sara Ali Khan And Akshay Kumar, He will next make his debut in Telugu with the bilingual film ‘Sir’ (“Vathi” in Tamil). Meanwhile, Aishwarya made her directorial debut with the film ‘3’ starring Dhanush and Shruti Haasan in lead roles.
