Hyundai Xter: Pricing

Hyundai India has launched the new Xeter SUV at a starting price of Rs 6 lakh (ex-showroom). Prices for the 1.2-litre petrol AMT SX(O) Connect variant go up to Rs 10 lakh. The manual petrol variant costs Rs 9.32 lakh, while the AMT base variant starts from Rs 7.97 lakh. It has two CNG variants, which cost Rs 8.24 lakh and Rs 8.97 lakh. Tata Punch: Pricing

The Tata Punch SUV is priced similarly to the Hyundai Xtor, which will make it a tough choice for buyers. The base Punch Pure version of the Tata Punch starts at Rs 6 lakh (ex-showroom). The top spec Tata Punch Creative iRA DT variant with MT gearbox is priced at Rs 8.92 lakh (ex-showroom). The base AMT variant is the Punch Adventure Edition priced at Rs 7.50 lakh and goes up to Rs 9.52 lakh for the Punch Creative iRA DT AMT variant. The Punch doesn’t have a CNG engine option as of now. The Punch is available in 5 variants across 26 trims, providing a lot of choices to the buyers.

The Hyundai Xtor joins an extensive list of SUVs offered by the South Korean automaker in India, which includes the Venue, Creta, Alcazar, Tucson and others. The sub-compact SUV sits below the Venue compact SUV in Hyundai’s product lineup and gets several first-in-segment features, including a dashcam with dual cameras (front and rear), smartphone-based connectivity for taking photos, multiple recording modes are included. The Hyundai Xtor will get the 1.2L NA petrol engine that is used in the Aura, Grand i10 Nios and the i20. Also, the petrol motor will get both a 5-speed MT and a 5-speed AMT option, while the CNG will only get an AMT option.
