“A magisterial inquiry by the officer of admiral Rank ordered in Hyderpora encounter. official Will take appropriate action as soon as the report is submitted in a time bound manner. The JK Administration reiterates its commitment to protect the lives of innocent civilians and will ensure that there is no injustice,” Lt. Manoj Sinha Said in a tweet.
A magisterial inquiry was ordered amid protests by the families of three of the four people killed in the encounter on Monday.
Family members of Mohammad Altaf Bhat (Builder owner), Mudasir Gully (a tenant) and rich mangre (Gul’s office boy) has been opposing the killings, which he describes as cold-blooded murder.
They have demanded that the bodies of the dead be handed over to them for the last rites.
The four people killed in the encounter were buried in Handwara area of Kupwara district.
