He said that a dedicated parcel counter would be set up at each Head Post Office to accept parcels from customers during working hours.
Parcels can also be taken from customers based on online requests either through ‘Post Info App’ or through Beat Postman on request basis. Srinivas said the packing has been made available at five head post offices including Hanamkonda, Karimnagar, Khammam, Nizamabad and Warangal.
The postal department official advised the customers to provide their mobile number on the parcel to receive SMS alerts after delivery. Customers can track their parcel online and in addition a pre-delivery alert of the parcel will be sent to the customer’s mobile number through SMS.
