According to police, five persons, including three minors, have been arrested for allegedly molesting and raping a girl inside a car on May 28 after attending a party at a pub at a secluded spot in Banjara Hills. The police said that all the allegations leveled against the state home minister’s son are baseless.

The complaint was lodged by the girl’s father on May 31, following which a case was registered under Section 354 of the Indian Penal Code and the POCSO Act.

According to media reports, the boys parked the car in the posh Jubilee Hills area of ​​Hyderabad and raped the girl in turn.

Police sources said the minor was allegedly gang-raped in a car, which has been seized. The owner of the vehicle is being questioned. Police said all those who had attended the party at the pub are also being questioned.

The National Commission for Protection of Child Rights told News18 that the agency is issuing notices to the concerned police officers. The minor has been sent for medical examination.
