Mild tension prevailed in Warangal district on Monday after a caravan being used by Sharmila as part of her state-wide padyatra was attacked and set ablaze and window panes of a vehicle damaged.

Sharmila was stopped by the police in view of the law and order situation and was asked to return and was sent back to Hyderabad with police protection.
