Actor Meezaan Jaffrey, who Bollywood The first film with Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s production Malaal, has opened up about the actresses he would like to feature in his upcoming films. Javed Jaffrey’s son Meezaan, who will be seen in Hungama 2, said that he would like to share the screen with him Deepika Padukone If he has to “romance an older woman”. Among the actresses of the new crop, Meezaan picked Janhvi Kapoor and Tara Sutaria as potential co-stars.
In an interview with Times Now, Meezaan opened up about his desire to work with Deepika Padukone. Meezaan was quoted as saying, “I think Deepika Padukone would definitely… if I really had to romance an older woman on screen, I think depending on the film and the character I would go for it. I’ll be fine with you.”
According to him, the film and its story are more important than “thinking about these subtle details”.
Meezaan will soon be seen starring alongside Bollywood stars like Shilpa Shetty, Paresh Rawal and Pranitha Subhash in Priyadarshan’s Hungama 2, which will release on an OTT platform on July 23. This is Meezaan’s second film in Bollywood.
Meezaan shared his experience of working with his co-stars Shilpa Shetty and Paresh Rawal. He said he was “quite frightened” and “nervous” because he wasn’t sure how he would address her and build a relationship with her.
He said that Shilpa is “extremely sweet and supportive” and that she brings positivity to her environment.
Hungama 2 is a situational comedy and was slated to hit the theaters on August 14. Later in May, the makers of the film said that it would be released directly on the digital platform as cinema halls were closed due to the Covid-19 outbreak. Now Hungama 2 will stream on Disney Hotstar from 23rd July.
