Hungama 2: Shilpa Shetty urges fans to watch Priyadarshan’s film amid Raj Kundra’s arrest in porn case
Actress Shilpa Shetty, who was awaiting the release of her comeback film “Hungama 2”, created a buzz when her businessman-husband Raj Kundra was arrested in a porn film case. On Thursday, she shared a quote from a book about surviving challenges and on Friday she posted another around her film which is releasing today on Disney Plus Hotstar. Taking to Twitter on Friday evening, the actress wrote, “I believe in and practice the teachings of Yoga, “The only place where life exists is the present moment.” Hungama 2 incorporated the tireless efforts of an entire team. Gaya, who has worked very hard to make a good film, and the film should never suffer…!”
Not only this but she made another tweet which read, “So today I request all of you to watch Hungama 2 with your family to bring a smile on your face and for the sake of every single person associated with the film. Thank you. Thank you, Shilpa Shetty Kundra.”

Meanwhile, a Mumbai court on Friday extended till July 27 the police custody of businessman Raj Kundra in a case related to allegedly making obscene films and publishing them through certain apps. Kundra, husband of actress Shilpa Shetty, was arrested on the night of July 19 by the crime branch of the city police under relevant sections of the Indian Penal Code and the Information Technology Act.
He was produced in a magistrate’s court on Friday after his previous remand ended. The police have demanded extension of his custody for further investigation of the case. The police had earlier told the court that the 45-year-old businessman was financially benefiting from the illegal activity of making and selling pornographic material.

Police had claimed that they have seized Kundra’s mobile phone and its contents should be examined and his business deals and transactions should also be looked into.
