Hrithik Roshan and Ranbir Kapoor attend a closed-door meeting for ‘Ramayan’ – Times of India

On Saturday, two popular Bollywood hunks Hrithik Roshan and Ranbir Kapoor Spotted at filmmaker Jack Bhangnani’s office. This led to speculations that Bhagnani might be planning to make a two-hero film with these stars. However, according to a report in Pinkvilla, Hrithik and Ranbir Visited Namit MalhotraClosed-room meeting office around the great work ‘Ramayana’. Reportedly, the directors at the meeting, along with the two Nitesh Tiwari, Namit, and Madhu Mantena.

The report also states that this was one of the first meetings surrounding the project. ahead, Hrithik Roshan And Ranbir Kapoor has been roped in to play Raavan and Ram respectively, while the makers are yet to finalize a star who will play Sita.

Further, talking about the film ‘Ramayan’ in an interview with ETimes, Madhu Mantena said, “We are actually narrating it in a different way; we are going to narrate the traditional Ramayana in all its glory. What we all revisited last year was an epic that was told years ago; the experience, and the technology were different. Now we are using new tools to present it in a big way using the latest technology available. Making a film on Ramayana gives us the opportunity of a lifetime to retell these stories.”

He also spoke about the budget of the film in the conversation and said, “Initially we didn’t have a budget in mind and still no figures. Right now we are trying to see how we can tell this epic in all its glory. But when I started the project I thought we can make a film for Rs 300 crore, but today I don’t think that will be enough to tell this story. It is a continuous process but Allu (Arvind) With the support of Namit (Malhotra) and me, we hope that we will be able to present such a story.
