Hrithik Roshan and Deepika Padukone starrer ‘Fighter’ to be India’s first aerial action film – Times of India

After months of raising fan curiosity, the makers of ‘fighter’ starring megastar Hrithik Roshan and Deepika Padukone has announced that the upcoming film will be India’s first aerial action franchise.

Fans who were constantly searching for updates for the upcoming film have a reason to be happy as they will soon be able to witness the fresh and sizzling chemistry between the much-awaited couple: Hrithik and Deepika.

On Thursday, an Indian film critic shared an update about the film on his Instagram handle and revealed that ‘Fighter’ will be India’s first aerial action franchise that will salute the valor, sacrifice and patriotism of our armed forces.

“‘Fighter’ is a dream project and I am glad that someone with Ajith’s vision is partnering with me. With this film, we aim to put Indian films on the map for an action-loving global theatrical audience that enjoys tamasha and longs for Tamasha. Big screen experience,” director Anand said about the producer Ajit Andhare.

The film will be produced by Ajit, Mamta Anand, Ramon Chibb and Anku Pandey.

Speaking about the project, Ajit Andhare said: “An aerial action film offers a unique cinematic experience. It has never been done in India. Being one ‘top Gun’ Fans, I’ve been on the hunt for a script for years that explores aerial action and whose story is rooted in India. ‘Fighter’ is the answer. Siddharth understands this genre and brings a unique style to his films. I am looking forward to collaborating with him in building this franchise.”
