Google has recently launched its new flagship smartphone Pixel The 6 and Pixel 6 Pro get some exclusive features like motion mode, real time translation, action shots and many more, thanks to the company’s in-house Tensor chipset. However, according to several reports, you can use some of these features on other Pixel smartphones with Android 12 operating system as well. One such feature that is reportedly working on older Pixel smartphones is magic eraser. To install the feature, all you need to do is sideload Google Photos 5.64 on your Pixel device.
For those who don’t know, the Magic Eraser tool uses artificial intelligence to help you remove unwanted objects and people from images in Google Photos. To use the feature, users simply need to go to the Edit menu in Google Photos, tap the Tools option, select the Magic Eraser, and select the object you want to delete.
As per previous reports, some older Pixel smartphones are also capable of using the new Google Assistant feature called ‘Quick Phrases’. This feature allows users to command your Android smartphone to perform certain actions without using the ‘Hey Google’ trigger phrase
This feature can be used for various commands for answering calls, turning off alarms and some other basic functions. This puts Google Assistant on standby and whenever you receive a call, Assistant will wait for your command to ‘answer’ or ‘reject’ the call. Similarly, when your alarm goes off, the Assistant waits for your command to say ‘Stop’ or ‘Snooze’. Google Assistant reminds you when you can quit saying ‘Hey Google’ via a small popup under the heads-up notification.
According to a previous analysis by 9to5Google, in addition to the commands mentioned above, users will also be able to add specific commands as per their choice. These commands will be classified into ‘Recommended’, ‘Alarm’, ‘Connect’, ‘General Information’, ‘Lights’, ‘Media Control’, ‘Timer’ and ‘To-Dos’.
