Its customer base also got wider as it got brands like samsungMotorola, ZTE, Realme, Honor and Transsion on board.
Samsung Exynos came in fifth with just 4% shares, as the South Korean smartphone maker is restructuring its smartphone portfolio strategy of “in-sourcing as well as outsourcing to Chinese ODMs”. Meanwhile, MediaTek and Qualcomm have captured the bulk of the market share and MediaTek is benefiting from Samsung’s own mid-range 4G and 5G smartphones.
