Pakistani serial Tere Bin has been accused of copying the popular song Thukra ke mera pyaar… from the film Shaadi Mein Zaroor Aana.
Pakistani Drama Tere Bin is becoming very popular among the audience. The show starring Wahaj Ali and Yumna Zaidi is now in the middle of a copyright dispute. Zee Music has accused the makers of Tere Bin of copying the soundtrack of the song ‘Thukra Ke Mera Pyaar, Mera Intezaar Dekhenge’ from the film Shaadi Mein Zaroor Aana.
The popular song created a huge buzz among the audience. Rajkumar Rao and Kriti Kharbanda featured in the video of the song.
As soon as the controversy broke out over the song of the serial, the makers of Tere Bin immediately swung into action. As per reports, the makers of this Pakistani drama have released new episodes with new background music. Along with this, the makers have now reportedly removed the title track from the aired episode and have composed a new track for the show. Along with this, the makers have also released a new soundtrack for the romantic scenes of the serial.
However, fans are not happy with the decision and are missing the old track in the episodes of the show. Some fans have called the decision unfair and cited jealousy as the OST and serial were doing well in India on YouTube.
This is not the first time Tere Bin has been accused of copyright issues in the past as well. Indian serial Iss Pyaar Ko Kya Naam Doon? and Tere Bin reportedly had similarities in some moments. However, the show’s director Siraj-ul-Haq dismissed the similarity as baseless.
The Pakistani drama Tere Bin went on air in December 2022. Due to the strong acting and good storyline, the show gained a lot of popularity among the audience. The chemistry between the pair Murtaseem and Meerab played by Wahaj Ali and Yumna Zaidi respectively has received a lot of appreciation from the audience. The dance of these two is winning everyone’s heart in India as well.
