Marathi actor Bhushan Pradhan is known for his versatile acting skills in the films Miss Match, Shimmgga, etc. He is now eagerly anticipating the release of his next Marathi film Juna Furniture, written and directed by Mahesh Manjrekar. The trailer launch ceremony of this film was held recently and the Miss Match actor was also present at the event.
Bhushan Pradhan said that everyone thinks that we do a lot of work for our parents but children don’t know what their parents want. According to Bhushan, parents only want a little time in their children’s lives, a couple of words of affection, and that’s exactly what we don’t do. He added that no matter what parents should not be avoided. “I realised this while acting in this film,” he added.
Bhushan added that he remains in touch with his parents regularly when he is out of the house. The 37-year-old actor said that one thing he realised while acting in this film is that a perfect home can be made with both old and new furniture (old and new generation). Talking about his father Shashikant Pradhan’s wish, he said that his father wanted him to act in Mahesh Manjrekar’s film. Now, when this wish is fulfilled, Bhushan said that the film Juna Furniture is a dream come true for him and his father is also extremely happy today.
The trailer of this film was unveiled on April 12 and shows an elderly man Govind Shridhar Pathak and his wife living in dire circumstances. As shown in the glimpse, Govind’s wife dies due to health ailments as he has no money to be able to afford treatment. His son refuses to pay for the treatment which prompts Govind to file a case against him and his wife in court.
The trailer of Juna Furniture has become a hit with social media users who have heaped praises on it and also applauded the Vaastav director. One of the users called Mahesh Manjrekar the gem of the Marathi cinema. Juna Furniture will be released at the cinema halls on April 26.
