At this time, the excitement of the Tokyo Olympics is rising above everyone’s head. At the same time, there is also a daughter in the midst of all this who has played in boxing, wrestling and volleyball till national and state. But now he is forced to cut the parking slips in the scorching sun and rain. Had luck favored her, perhaps she too would have been playing the Olympics at this time.

Ritu, a resident of Dhanas, Chandigarh, started her game at the age of 10 with the Sector-35 model and then took it forward in the Sector-20 model. From 2014 to 2017 he also played several tournaments in all three supports. Won Bronze Medal in Boxing in National School Games in Telangana in 2017 in 60-62 weight category.

People talk even with misbehavior
Getting emotional says that I was inspired by Mary Kom and Khelo India Khelo. Maybe now the Olympics would have been playing as well. But luck has brought it to such a juncture that sometimes people also speak rudely. You don’t tell them anything? On asking this, Ritu says – Will I speak Didi? But it feels bad. He gets 350 rupees a day here and the cost of his father’s medicine is 10 thousand rupees per month.

The family did it on support…
Ritu was also fully supported by her parents and colleagues but she fell behind due to no help from the government. She also once went to the Sports Complex Sector 42 but was told that her scholarship had expired. Ritu says that players should get scholarships on time so that they can continue their sports and bring glory to the country.

Let us inform that recently, there has been some support from the chairperson of Punjab Women’s Commission Manisha Gulati. Manisha has recommended to the government that Ritu should be given a government job. Manisha said that she would recommend to the government about the national player Ritu that she should be given a police job. Let us tell you that not only the season alone, there are many such players across the country who are forced to leave their dreams in the middle and stumble in the process of raising their families.
