comedian Kapil Sharma The Kapil Sharma Show on Saturday welcomed lead actors Chitrangada Singh and Abhishek Bachchan from the upcoming OTT film Bob Biswas. Kapil had also invited his mother sitting in the audience for the same episode.
Kapil introduces Abhishek and Chitrangada to his mother saying that she insisted that I get married soon, but after marriage she hardly spends time with her daughter-in-law, Ginni Chatrath. The comment drew the back of Kapil’s mother. Responding to her son’s comment, she said, “Well, it’s not my fault if my daughter-in-law doesn’t let me sit with her at home. What should I do?” Everyone in the show laughed after hearing his pinch.
Kapil’s mother further added, “Every day, she asks him to leave the show early in the day, laying his suit on the bed. Tell me what should I do?” Abhishek and Chitrangada could not control their laughter after hearing his words.
However, this is not the first meeting of Kapil’s mother with a member of the Bachchan family. Once Big B aka Amitabh Bachchan asked a unique question to Kapil’s mother on the sets of her show Kaun Banega Crorepati.
In the episode, Kapil reveals that his mother was with him on the shoot of ‘Kaun Banega Crorepati 13’ in Surat. Amitabh Bachchan asked her what she had eaten before giving birth to Kapil. “Dal Phoolka,” she replied innocently.
Kapil Sharma and his now wife Ginni were good friends during their college days, but their work separated them from each other. Both were married on 12 December 2018 in Jalandhar. The couple had organized several wedding receptions in Amritsar, Delhi and Mumbai. Now they have two children, Trishaan and Anaira.
