Honoring women saints on Women’s Day: PM Modi will talk to 500 women saints to recognize the role of women saints and their contribution to empowerment

PM Modi will address a seminar to be held in Kutch on the occasion of International Women’s Day. This seminar is being held at Mahila Sant Camp of Dhordo village. The objective of the seminar is to recognize the role of women saints in the society and their contribution towards women empowerment.

500 women share
The virtual seminar will be held from 6 pm onwards. In which about 500 women saints will participate. Union Minister Smriti Irani, Sadhvi Niranjan Jyoti, Bharti Praveen Pawar will also participate in this seminar. Apart from these, Sadhvi Ritambhara, Mahamandaleshwar Kanakeswari Devi will also participate.

Theme is kept on gender equality
International Women’s Day was first celebrated in 1975. This year was declared by the United Nations as International Women’s Year. The theme of International Women’s Day in 2022 is Gender Equality Today for a Sustainable Tomorrow.
