Home Remedies: Facing the problem of sunburn? These home remedies can help you quickly

New Delhi: Sunburn is often caused by walking in the sun during the summer. Excessive sunburn can cause skin irritation, red marks. The ultraviolet rays coming from the sun affect the skin causing sunburn.

Try to avoid going out on hot and sunny days, however, if you have to go out and get sunburned then you can try some home remedies which may give you relief.

1. Curd Sunburn Treatment: Yogurt has many natural properties which are very beneficial for the skin. It also cures sunburns caused by sunlight. To use it, take 4 to 5 spoons of curd and mix 1 spoon of sugar in it. Then apply it on the affected area and leave it to dry. Afterwards wash it off with cold water. It will be completely fine after using it two to three times.

2. Treat Sunburn With Baking Soda: Baking soda is commonly found in the kitchen of every household. It is effective in removing many skin problems. To use it, you mix one to two teaspoons of baking soda in the bath water. Taking a bath with this water will cure sunburn completely.

3. Papaya and Honey Mask: Papaya cools the skin. To use it, mash the papaya, then mix honey in it and apply it on the affected area. Leave it to dry and later wash off with cold water. Within a few days you will get rid of sunburn completely.

4. Treat Sunburn With Cucumber: Cucumber also helps in cooling the skin. It contains a large amount of vitamin E. To use it, take a cucumber and cut it. Now apply it on the affected areas and leave it for 10 minutes. Then wash your face with cold water.
