Union Home Minister Amit Shah addressed a seminar of leaders of various cooperatives on ‘Sahakar Se Samridhi’ at Mahatma Mandir in Gandhinagar on Saturday.
He said, “The cooperative society of Gujarat is admired all over India. Prime Minister Narendra Modi took a revolutionary decision to create a cooperative ministry. 8 thousand crore direct relief to the farmers who grow sugarcane for sugar, the credit goes to PM Modi.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi was also present in the program.
The Prime Minister and the Home Minister are on a tour of Gujarat ahead of the assembly elections in the state. While PM Modi will visit the election state for one day, Amit Shah will be there for two days.
