The festival of Holika Dahan is celebrated every year on the full moon of Falgun month. But, this time a unique combination of planets is being seen on Holi.
Trigrahi Yoga will be formed in Aquarius. This rare planet formation is happening after 30 years. The astrologer said that Malavya Yoga is being formed due to Venus being in exalted sign and Raj Yoga being formed due to Jupiter being in its own sign. He said that Holika Dahan will take place on March 6, the day of Phalgun Purnima. On this day, the special combination of planets and constellations will be auspicious and fruitful for the natives.

This year, on the day of Falgun Shukla Chaturdashi, the full moon date is starting from 4:18 pm on Monday, March 6, which will remain till 6:10 pm on Tuesday. That’s why Holi Dahan will be celebrated on this day because there is full moon on March 6 in Pradosh period. However, on this day Bhadra will remain from 4.18 pm to 5.14 am on the second day. According to religious beliefs, if the time of Bhadra is after Nishith (midnight), then it is said to be best to do Holika Dahan in Bhadra Pradoshkal except Bhadra Mukha.

Pandit Dinesh Mishra told that the best Muhurta for Holika Dahan would be between 6:28 PM to 6:38 PM on Monday, March 6. During this, Holika Dahan is considered auspicious. Dhulandi festival will be celebrated on Tuesday, March 7. On this day, newly married women worship Gangaur by making Pindi from the ashes of Holi.
