In a joint operation with the Indian Army and the Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF), the Jammu and Kashmir Police on Friday arrested a Hizbul Mujahideen terrorist from Kishtwar district.

According to the Jammu and Kashmir Police, Muzammil Hussain Shah had joined Hizbul Mujahideen a few days ago. He was arrested from Kulna forest area of ​​Patimahalla Palmar in a joint operation of 17 Rashtriya Rifles and CRPF 52 Bn.

Police have recovered a grenade, a magazine and 30 rounds of AK-47 rifle from him.

“Kishtwar Police along with security forces have identified the third person as Muzammil Hussain Shah, a resident of Mirna Patimahalla Palmar, Kishtwar district, who joined the HM terrorist rank a few days ago from Kulna forest area of ​​Patimahalla Palmar. along with a grenade and magazine. 30 rounds of bullets have been recovered from his possession.

An FIR has been registered at Dachan police station and further investigation is on in the matter.
